Silvio had a passion for fine foods and translated that into a family owned business.
In 1990 he and his wife Loreta, started
Conte Food Importers with hope,
faith and the garage attached to their home.
Within the year, the business grew and they moved the operation to a small warehouse.
Today the business is operating from a 10,000 sq ft building and looking to expand.
In 1998 their son Christopher joined the company and has helped it progress with his modern ideas. Recently their daughter Maria came on board as a salesrep and Stefanie takes care of seasonal gift items.
This family imports the finest foods from Italy and is proud to display these items in the specialty shops, hotels, restaurants and local markets throughout B.C.
